1980 Onyx "Sonex 180"

very rare!

This ONYX LP guitar is very interesting: it looks almost exactly like a Gibson Sonex 180 (see last pic!), but I'm not sure which came first: the Gibson Sonex or that Onyx! A dating of this very good guitar is not possible, but it may be even older than the Gibson Sonex, which started in 1980. If anybody knows more about this absolutely rare bird, please let me know!
