This 15" wide thin-body twelve-string guitar with pointed horns has an unbound hollow maple body with a single "cat's-eye" soundhole. Three-piece medium profile maple/walnut/maple neck, rosewood fretboard with 21 frets and white dot position markers. Two single coil pickups, Rickenbacker bridge and "R" tailpiece. There is probably no other guitar that typifies mid 1960's rock music better than the Rickenbacker twelve-string. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane and The Byrds all used Rickenbacker 12's on countless recordings at that time. The Beatles gave the 12 string great exposure on records and in the movie A Hard Day's Night. This greatly increased demand for the instruments. Good condition. Comes with Gigbag.
